The Significance Of The Solar Plexus Chakra
Our 3rd chakra is known as the chakra of the solar plexus. It sits a little above our belly button. It develops when we are 15 to 21. The chakra has a connection with confidence, self-esteem, self-worth, and control over your life. When blocked, it deals with self-doubt and shame.
All the times we criticize or become helplessly angry, we close the 3rd chakra. As a result, we weaken our willpower. At that point, we feel like all control and power originates outside us, and not within us.
The Relationship With Summer
The solar plexus chakra has everything to do with the personal “fire”. Unsurprisingly, this chakra’s element is fire. Now, both the solar plexus chakra and summer are ruled by fire. To keep yourself balanced, two practices are important at the same time: practices for stabilizing the fire and keeping it from going rampant; and practices for enhancing water to help balance the fire.
Solar Plexus Chakra Ritual
This one is for reminding you about the power within you. The requirements are simple: some paper, a writing instrument, and a candle. The candle should be yellow. You can use some incense too for setting the mood.
First, jot down an aspect that you want to get more from, like relationships, or career, etc. Think of the conceptual boundary that needs to be expanded to get into a receptive place. Ask yourself about the things you are choosing regarding the first answer. Then, think of the goals that you must hold on to to get what you want. Then make a list of all the things about you that make you feel proud. Remember the power in you, and be thankful for it until the page is complete.
Then, while lighting the candle, speak out loud all your contributions and desires. Stare at the flame while imagining the light entering your body. Then, with eyes closed, observe your abdomen being lit up by the golden hue. Imagine it warms you and releases all the tension inside your stomach.
Take a deep breath and feel all the stress is taken away by the light’s warmth. Be aware that you deserve your desired life. Then, while staring at the flame once more, imagine yourself one year ahead. You can remain there for as much time as you want.
Whenever life becomes too confusing, or frightening, imagine the golden light. Allow it to expand through the body, releasing every obstacle. Start being more confident in your power to meet life’s challenges.
Other Methods Of Balancing Your Solar Plexus Chakra
The Lunar pranayama helps in cooling fire’s masculine energy while maximizing water’s feminine energy. Bring your middle and index figure to the third eye. Then close the right nostril using your thumb. Use your left nostril to breathe in, then close it and breathe out through your right nostril. Then, repeat the process by inhaling through the left one.
You can also make some changes to your lifestyle. This means cooling foods like watermelons, etc. Other methods of cooling include briefly swimming in any local natural water body. Try to keep your cool and your head level.
To use the fire, you can take on new projects, get into a commitment, make the most of your talents, and be courageous. This is the perfect time to harness all the courage you have.
